About Gail

Advanced Body Mind Healing

Education

I am a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), a Registered Nurse (RN), Healing Touch Practitioner (HTP), and Hypnotherapist with certifications in Hypnosis for Pain Management and Past Life Regression Hypnotherapy for Soul Contact.  I have a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with specialization in Adult Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing. After completing the Healing Touch Practitioner board certification in 2004, I went on to study energy healing, spiritual development, and ancient traditions with Rev. Rosalyn L Bruyere, D.D.  In 2014, I completed Rev. Bruyere’s Crucible Program and was Ordained as Minister of Healing with designation as Master of Natural Theology in Sacred Healing.  More recently I have completed certifications in Hypnosis for Pain Management and Past Life Regression Hypnotherapy for Soul Contact.

Experience

I have worked as a professional nurse in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings, including serving on active duty in the Army Nurse Corps at Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) and Walter Reed Army Medical Center (WRAMC). From 1998 to 2014, I developed and managed the Psychiatric Consultation-Liaison Service (PCLS) of a large healthcare system. Leaving that system in 2014, I maintained a private psychotherapy practice until 2020.  Over the years of my nursing practice, I have provided Healing Touch and taught subtle energy healing in numerous hospitals and outpatient settings, including presentations to other healthcare professionals in the community. Adding hypnotherapy to my practice has enhanced my ability to help individuals with chronic pain, chronic fatigue, emotional trauma, chronic anxiety, and those with a desire for greater connection with the wisdom of the soul.

Beliefs

Health is much more than, and separate from, merely absence of disease.  It means being full of light, vitality, and well-being, having appropriate feelings and thought processes, being forgiving and willing to embrace change, having creative self-expression and responsibility, having intuitive understanding, and having a healthy spiritual relationship with the Creator.

The foundational framework for my healing work is Martha Rogers’ nursing theory on The Science of Unitary Human Beings.  According to this theory, human beings are multidimensional, unified, irreducible wholes, greater than and different from the sum of the parts.  We are characterized as being human energy fields, as opposed to having energy fields. The human energy field is an open system that is constantly exchanging matter and energy with the environment, which itself is a greater energy field that extends to infinity.  These energy exchanges are simultaneous processes unique to each individual and the individual’s environmental field.

Practice Focus

My special interest is in using my knowledge and skills to help people who suffer from chronic health conditions such as pain, anxiety, stress, depression, cancer, and fatigue.

What you can expect from me
